—————— GEORGIA QUALIFYING AGENT
I'm Greg.
I'm the QA
your company needs.
Georgia law requires every construction company to have a licensed General Contractor on staff before it can advertise, permit, or build. I provide that license. You focus on the work.
This applies whether you're running an established company or working toward your own license.

—————— ABOUT ME
Twenty years of permits, inspections, and getting things done right.
I've been a licensed General Contractor in Georgia for over twenty years. In that time I've managed construction projects of every size, across residential and commercial work, and I've pulled permits in counties throughout metro Atlanta and North Georgia. I know the process, the inspectors, and the requirements because I've been working with them my entire career.
These days I work exclusively as a Qualifying Agent. I put my license behind companies that need one and provide the oversight the state requires so you can focus on the work itself.
My contracting background is what makes this arrangement valuable. I'm not just a name on a form. I understand what your crews are building, I can speak to inspectors with authority, and I know when something needs to be done differently to pass code the first time.

—————— PLAIN ENGLISH
What is a Qualifying Agent, and why does your company need one?
THE LAW
In Georgia, no company can legally advertise, sell, pull permits, or build construction projects under its own name without a licensed General Contractor on staff. That person is called the Qualifying Agent. This requirement also applies to owners, supervisors, and project managers who are working toward their own license.
WHAT I DO
I serve as your company's Qualifying Agent. My license becomes your company's license. I provide the required oversight and ensure your work meets Georgia's code requirements at every stage.
WHAT THAT MEANS FOR YOU
If your company does not have a licensed GC on staff, you are operating outside state law. That means no permits, no legal advertising, and significant liability if something goes wrong on a job site.
WHY IT WORKS
Many excellent builders, remodelers, and developers don't hold a GC license themselves. Rather than spending years pursuing one, they bring on an experienced QA. This also applies to those actively working toward their own license. It's a legal, straightforward arrangement the state of Georgia specifically provides for.
—————— THE PROCESS
How it works, start to finish
01
Reach out
Send me a message with your company name, the type of work you do, and where you operate. I'll respond within one business day.
02
We’ll talk it through
I'll tell you straight whether your company meets the state requirements and whether this arrangement makes sense. No commitment at this stage.
03
Employment agreement
The state requires a formal employment agreement between me and your company. I'll walk you through exactly what that involves and what it means.
04
Your company is qualified
Once approved by the Georgia Contractors License Division and your company license is issued, your company can legally advertise, permit, and build as a licensed General Contractor.
—————— WHAT YOU’LL NEED
State requirements to qualify your company
The Georgia Contractors License Division has a specific checklist every company must satisfy before I can be filed as their Qualifying Agent. Here is what your company needs to have in place. If you are not sure where you stand, just reach out and I will tell you directly.

—————— WHO I WORK WITH
Built for companies that are ready to operate at the next level
You have the skills, the crews, and the clients. I provide the license that lets your company advertise, permit, and operate under your own name in full compliance with Georgia law.
Builders & Remodelers
You flip properties or develop land and want to pull your own permits, control your timelines, and stop depending on outside contractors to do what your company could handle directly.
Real Estate Investors
Developers & Construction Companies
You manage multi-unit or commercial projects and need a licensed GC on staff who understands the work, not just the paperwork. I bring both.
Owners & Managers Pursuing Licensure
If you are working toward your own Georgia GC license, I can serve as your Qualifier in the meantime. This satisfies the License Division's employment requirements while you build toward operating fully under your own company name.
